Buckland records seven property transfers in July-August span, only one price disclosed
Buckland recorded seven property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 10, but only one listed a sale price: $20,000 for 12 Williams Street, sold Aug. 4 from Victoria J. Ward and Marjorie L. Ward to Traders Trust Co. and T Bank. That figure also stands as the period's median and full price range, since no other deed disclosed consideration. The remaining six transfers, spanning Ashfield Road, Charlemont Road, Franklin Street, Sears Street, Lower Street and one address recorded without a street name, closed without a disclosed price. Financial and lending entities appeared as parties in three of the transfers, and one transfer at Franklin Street moved property within the same family. With pricing data available for just one of seven deeds, the data does not support characterizing the period's market tone.
